In 1887, just 1,771,000 Morgan dollars emerged at San Francisco and today comparatively few remain in mint-state quality. Just 57,000 of those — 3% of the original mintage, may now survive in Brilliant Uncirculated quality. Our Brilliant Uncirculated quality has nice original luster and no sign of wear (some bag marks are present, as is normal).
